Healthcare in Almaguin is getting a makeover. The Burk’s Falls Family Health Team will now be known as the Almaguin Highlands Family Health Team to better reflect its partnership with a satellite office at the Sundridge & District Medical Centre. It’s not just about rebranding – it’s about providing quality care to hundreds of area residents without a family physician.
The Almaguin Highlands Family Health Team’s board is currently made up of health care professionals, but they are seeking community members who wish to volunteer and share their expertise in areas such as human resources, law and finance.
